Congratulations to our 21 girls who represented St Bernadettes in the 2024 Parramatta Diocesan Gymnastic competition. Our first one with amazing results! Mrs Gosh and Mrs Harkin were more than impressed with the camaraderie and teamanship showed by the squad, towards each other as well as other school members and teams. Their encouragement towards each other as they competed was beautiful to see. Our best results on the day were: Eve Palmer: 2nd overall, Bronze vault and bronze mini tramp. Emily McVean: silver mini tramp and Bronze floor. We were very pleased with the high standard of gymnastics skills across the team. Thank you for the parent support.

Year Four had a lovely time on Monday morning sharing some stories at Preschool Storytime in the Wellbeing Library. They laughed and enjoyed some great picture books together. Many of the preschoolers are coming to 'big school' next year so they got a taste of what life in the library will be like. Thanks to all the mums who came, they chatted and made new friends. A big thank you to the Year 4 students.

Happy 1 Month birthday to our Year 2 silkworms! They have been living happily in our classrooms and we have been busy observing and learning all about them. Year 2 are really enjoying caring for them and the teachers feel very proud of both the children and the silkworms! Can you spot the cocoons?

Congratulations to our School Choir πππ They performed with other schools in a Primary Choir at the 'Celebration Sing Out' concert at Sydney Town Hall. A concert to raise funds for music therapy for children in hospital. Check out the following pics and videos from the day and the rehearsals. What a fantastic orchestra! It was a long day for 41 children and Mrs Cooke, but all their hard work paid off... they were Amazing. Thank you to all the parents who made it possible bringing their children into the city for rehearsals and attending the concert. What was your favourite song on the day?
