Principal's Message

I would like to take the opportunity to warmly welcome you to the St Bernadette's school website.

Founded by the Mercy Sisters in 1956, St Bernadette's has a long and proud tradition of providing quality Catholic education to the families of Castle hill. Our school motto of 'Strength through Gentleness' encourages us to live our lives as Jesus taught us and persist in times of adversity by drawing on the strength of our faith.

At St Bernadette's we provide a strong partnership between home, school and parish. We encourage parental involvement and provide many opportunities for families to support their child’s learning progress, as well as taking part in social activities that help to build a strong sense of
community.

All that we do is actively supported by our Parish Priest Father Fernando Montano, Assistant Parish Priest Father Shinto and parishioners.

Our highly skilled teachers and well equipped facilities provide children with relevant and challenging learning opportunities that enable them to learn and solve problems in a variety of ways. We teach our children that to be successful, now and in the future, we need to be:

  • Safe
  • Respectful
  • Resilient
  • and most importantly, lifelong learners.

St Bernadette’s provides many extracurricular activities to support a well-rounded education for all students. With opportunities such as band, choir, gardening club, after school sports programs, dance, debating and representative sports just to name a few.

Enjoy browsing our website and visiting our Facebook page to learn more about St Bernadette’s Castle Hill. I look forward to meeting you in the near future.
